WHAT ARE THE BEST TIMES TO BOOK OUTDOOR SESSIONS?
Scheduling outdoor sessions around 4PM in the spring/summer and around 3PM during the fall/winter is ideal.
WHERE WILL MY PHOTO SESSION TAKE PLACE?
Session locations depends on your needs. You have a choice of outdoor or indoor locations.
Individual Corporate Headshots and Legacy Portraits are typically taken in my studio.
Furnished studios are also an option for an additional cost.
CAN YOU SUGGEST AN OUTDOOR LOCATION?
While I can suggest a few great places, locations outside of the studio must be secured by the client.
All associated location fees and permitting are the sole responsibility of the client.
Locations outside of the Waterloo Region area are subject to additional travel and lodging costs. Please reach out before scheduling out of town sessions.
DO YOU HAVE ACCESS TO FURNISHED STUDIOS?
Yes, I have a few favourite indoor furnished studios that we can use at an additional cost.
This is perfect for winter months for individual who want more than just a plain backdrop.
DO I NEED TO PAY A RETAINER?
A 50% non refundable retainer is required to book your session. All retainers are applied to the full session fee.
An invoice for the remaining balance will be sent following your session and must be paid in full before proofs are released.
CAN I ORDER ADDITIONAL IMAGES?
You definitely can order additional images.
Additional fully retouched images ($100 each) or Colour Corrected images (5 for $160 or $40 each)
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EDITING AND RETOUCHING?
Editing involves basic correction of colours and light in images. This process is done at a gallery level and is automatically included on any images you receive.
High-End Retouching includes skin smoothing, blemish removal, or any other photo manipulation that requires extensive Photoshop work. This process is done on a per-image basis and must be specifically requested based on your package level.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
After you choose your favourite images from the gallery, it can take up to 7-14 business days to receive your retouched images after final selection. Rush editing is available for all sessions for an additional fee.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I GET BACK?
That depends on the variety of the locations, outfits, and poses you choose within your allotted time frame. Instead of setting a maximum number of images to deliver, it is my standard policy to deliver all of the best images from your shoot. On average, you can estimate this approximately 30 images per hour of coverage time.
HOW DO I SEE MY IMAGES?
Your images will be uploaded to an online proofing gallery following your session. From there, you will select your favourites from your session for edits and prints for your image collection or downloads.
The gallery will remain active for two weeks. Be sure to download all images you wish to keep. Save the files for reference when ordering edits or prints in the future.
